If you have a business with a physical location that provides services or products to public, this free and easy to use platform will impact how you appear on Google Search and Maps.

There are countless reasons why you need a Google My Business account but I will try to summarize the most important ones below:

No one relies on taking directions from someone anymore. People use google maps as their phone GPS system or look up where they are going ahead of time to be familiar with the area around. Having your business pinned to a Google Map with a good “street view” helps identify your location for potential customer.

And vice versa, if you have encountered a negative review, you should reply to see if you can improve the situation and show the public that you take them seriously.
